Miranda Arts Project Space is thrilled to announce the opening of #BLACK, a performance, discussion, and exhibition exploring the insurgent idiom of Black culture and the social, geographic, and political changes it brings about. Artists include Damali Abrams, Nontsikelelo Mutiti, Terence Nanace, Shani Peters, and Sharita Towne.

Join us for an opening reception and gallery talk with the artists on Saturday, November 21st, from 6-8pm.

Join us for an exhibition opening with the artists of the Murmuration Collective. Artist collectives have long offered productive collaborative spaces for artists to gather, to exchange ideas, knowledge and inspiration. The murmuration collective is 5 artists who meet regularly to discuss, critique, explore and innovate. Out of this comes connection, community, and art. Join us for an artist talk and closing reception of L/inked: A Collaboration with Artists, Insects, and Oak Trees.

This exhibition is a showcase of collaborative and autonomous drawings from the L/inked project; a drawing project where artists harvested their own ink from oak trees.

Artists include Patricia Miranda, Judith Brisson, Leah Caroline, Ellie Irons, Katherine Jackson, Eric Jiaju Lee, Martin Kruck, Jill London, Karen L Schiff, Wendy Small, Patricia Spergel Bauman. Wine and Ink to be served!

This project is supported and funded by an Arts Alive Individual Artist Grant sponsored by ArtsWestchester and NYSCA (New York State Council on the Arts).
