In conjunction with the exhibition Solidary/Solitary: the Artist at Work, Michael Torlen will join in discussion with gallery director Patricia Miranda about artists groups, and critique groups in particular, especially the selection of artists included in this exhibition. This group has been led by Michael Torlen, artist and Professor Emeritus at Purchase College, State University of New York. A rich discussion has grown and developed. This discussion will be explored in relation to this show and to larger ideas of artists communities in the gallery talk.
